Omaha Storm Chasers

Omaha lost by a 3-1 score for a second straight night. Dwyer (five-plus innings, five hits, two earned runs, one walk, three strikeouts) held Round Rock scoreless until the fifth. Donnie Joseph fanned three and walked three in 1 1/3 innings. Max Ramirez finished 2-for-4 with a double and a run. Christian Colon, Irving Falu and Xavier Nady added singles.

NW Arkansas Naturals

Midland 10, NW Arkansas 3

HR: None

Northwest Arkansas dropped to 0-2 in the opening set at home. Midland's Anthony Aliotti hit a three-run homer in the first off of Adam (4 2/3 innings, eight hits, seven earned runs, two walks, two strikeouts, two homers allowed). Aliotti has been Midland's star in the series, going 6-for-6 with four walks in 10 plate appearances. Mitch Canham drove in a run while leading the Naturals with three hits.

Wilmington Blue Rocks

Myrtle Beach 7, Wilmington 6 (11 innings)

The Blue Rocks led on five occasions before dropping a back-and-forth contest at Myrtle Beach. The Pelicans tied the game at 1-1, 2-2, 4-4, 5-5 and 6-6. Kyle Zimmer fanned eight and retired 15 of 17 batters, though the two to reach were both solo homers. Danny Mateo was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run. Geulin Beltre added two hits and two RBI.

Lexington Legends

Augusta 4, Lexington 0

The Legends could not capitalize on a bases-loaded opportunity in the first, as they lost at Augusta. Terrance Gore recorded a double, with Humberto Arteaga, Adalberto Mondesi and Bubba Starling adding singles. Augusta scored two unearned runs in the first off of Brickhouse (four innings, five hits, two unearned runs, one walk, seven strikeouts).
