Omaha Storm Chasers (66-67)

Former Zephyr Brett Hayes hit a walk-off homer in the 10th as Omaha evened the series at a game apiece. Hayes hit a game-tying homer in the eighth and has four home runs over the last two games. Chris Dwyer retired the first 17 batters before a bunt single broke up a perfect game. Dwyer allowed two runs (one earned), three hits and two walks over 7.1 innings. Michael Mariot (2.2 IP) picked up the relief win.

NW Arkansas Naturals (29-30 2nd half, 54-75 overall)

The Naturals scored two in the seventh before falling short at Springfield. The Cardinals hit a pair of home runs off of Sugar Ray Marimon (6.0 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO). Cheslor Cuthbert and Lane Adams each drove in a run for Northwest Arkansas. The series wraps up tonight, with the Naturals looking to take three of four. They trail Arkansas and Springfield by one game in the second-half race.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (24-36 2nd half, 57-73 overall)

Daniel Mateo's grand slam in the fifth gave the Blue Rocks a 6-3 lead as they snapped an eight-game losing streak. Angel Baez (5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 2 SO) allowed all three of his runs on a homer in the fourth. Every Wilmington batter recorded at least one hit. Yem Prades recorded three hits and two runs while Justin Trapp drove in a pair.

Lexington Legends (33-27 2nd half, 66-62 overall)

Augusta 6, Lexington 3 (12 innings)
LP: Zeb Sneed (1-1 with Lexington, 3-2 overall)
HR: None

Lexington lost a second straight 12-inning contest, finishing 1-2 vs. Augusta. Starter Crawford Simmons held the Green Jackets to a run over 5.0 innings. Bubba Starling was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a walk. Hunter Dozier added a walk and an RBI.

Idaho Falls Chukars (12-9 2nd half, 31-28 overall)

Idaho Falls 10, Billings 3

HR: Cody Stubbs (4), Alexis Rivera (4), Humberto Arteaga (3), Daniel Rockett (7)

The Chukars scored 10 for a second straight night, building a 10-0 lead at Billings. Idaho Falls hit a homer in each of the first four innings, beginning with a two-run shot by Cody Stubbs. The first baseman drove in four, giving him seven RBI in the series.

Burlington Royals (26-33)

Johnson City 7, Burlington 4

HR: None

Burlington fell behind 5-0 en route to an opening loss vs. Johnson City. Andrew Ayers recorded three hits and a run. Bobby Brown, Alex Newman and Lewis Urena each drove in a run for the Royals. Javier Reynoso tossed 3.0 scoreless innings in relief.

Surprise Royals (10-13 2nd half, 20-31 overall)

Surprise scored four in the first en route to a win at Fitch Park. Jecksson Flores was 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs. Riley King recorded two hits and three RBI while Wander Franco posted two hits, two RBI and two runs. Missouri native Hunter Haynes worked 4.0 scoreless innings for his first professional save.
