Omaha Storm Chasers (66-68)

Omaha dropped to 1-1 in a five-game set. Felipe Paulino made a rehab start, allowing six runs, nine hits and a walk over 5.0 innings. He allowed two home runs, both by Kevin Mattison. Irving Falu was 3-for-5 with a run scored for Omaha. Brian Fletcher added a single and two RBI. Yordano Ventura is scheduled to start tonight for the Storm Chasers.

NW Arkansas Naturals (30-30 2nd half, 55-75 overall)

NW Arkansas 12, Springfield 0
WP: Aaron Brooks (6-6)
HR: Brett Eibner (18), Rey Navarro (11), Matt Fields (31)

The Naturals won easily to finish 3-1 at Springfield. Brett Eibner started the scoring with a solo homer in the third. Rey Navarro recorded three hits, three runs and a two-run home run. Matt Fields capped a seven-run eighth with a grand slam, his league-leading 31st home run. Aaron Brooks scattered seven hits over 6.0 innings. Scott Alexander, Spencer Patton and Jon Keck completed the shutout with an inning apiece.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (25-36 2nd half, 58-73 overall)

Wilmington 5, Frederick 4
WP: J.C. Sulbaran (2-1 with Wilmington, 4-6 overall)
SV: Malcom Culver (3)
HR: Justin Trapp (10)

Wilmington won a second straight at Frederick. J.C. Sulbaran worked 5.0 innings, allowing three runs on a pair of home runs. Justin Trapp put Wilmington on the board with a two-run shot in the third. Daniel Mateo added two doubles, an RBI and a run.

Lexington Legends (34-27 2nd half, 67-62 overall)

Lexington 4, Greenville 3
WP: Greg Billo (3-2 with Lexington, 3-4 overall)
SV: Mark Peterson (18)
HR: Bubba Starling (11)

Lexington withstood a late rally to win the opener over Greenville. Hunter Dozier was 4-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Bubba Starling added two hits, including a solo homer in the fourth. Greg Billo tossed 5.0 shutout innings, striking out eight while scattering four hits and three walks.

Idaho Falls Chukars (13-9 2nd half, 32-28 overall)

Idaho Falls 4, Billings 3

SV: Corey Rhoney (3) HR: Daniel Rockett (8), Mauricio Ramos (1)

Idaho Falls swept Billings thanks to a homer from Mauricio Ramos in the sixth. Daniel Rockett tied the game with a three-run blast in the fourth, his second home run in as many games. Kyle Bartsch held Billings scoreless on a hit and a walk over 4.0 innings for the relief win.

Burlington Royals (26-34)

Johnson City 9, Burlington 4

HR: None

Burlington fell to 0-2 vs. Johnson City with a fourth straight loss overall. The Royals scored two in the first before the Cards reeled off nine unanswered runs. Tyler Chism was 2-for-4 with an RBI, a walk and two runs. He's batting .331 with Burlington (41-for-124).

Surprise Royals (11-13 2nd half, 21-31 overall)

Surprise 7, Arizona Athletics 6
WP: Jairo Munoz (1-0)
HR: Brawlun Gomez (7)

Surprise scored five in the ninth to walk off with the win. Brandon Dulin's sac fly scored Wander Franco for the win. Franco tied the game with a two-run triple. The rally followed three runs in the top half by the Athletics.
