Omaha Storm Chasers (60-56)

The Storm Chasers lost a matinee finale, finishing 2-2 vs. Iowa. Mike Olt had the big hit for Iowa, a grand slam in the third. Tim Collins worked 3.1 innings in relief, striking out two while allowing a run, two hits and a walk. Whit Merrifield had three hits, a double and a run. Johnny Giavotella added two hits, two walks and three runs.

NW Arkansas Naturals (21-23 second half, 46-68 overall)

The Naturals lost game one vs. Corpus Christi. Matt Murray worked 4.0 innings, yielding two runs, four hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Mitch Maier was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run. Ethan Chapman added two hits, an RBI and a walk.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (20-22 second half, 53-57 overall)

The Blue Rocks were blanked in game one vs. Myrtle Beach. Jonathan Dziedzic (6.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO) has a 1.90 ERA over his last 10 starts (11 ER in 52.0 IP), though he's 0-3 over the stretch. Zane Evans and Ramon Torres had two hits apiece for Wilmington.

Lexington dropped a second straight game to the Braves. The Legends took a 2-0 lead in the third. Chad Johnson scored the first run on a wild pitch and Kenny Diekroeger's infield single plated Dex Kjerstad. Rome hit a pair of homers in the third off of Luke Farrell (5.0 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO, 2 HR).

Idaho Falls Chukars (3-5 second half, 23-23 overall)

Rain postponed Tuesday's contest in Idaho Falls. A doubleheader is scheduled for tonight, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Mountain time.

Burlington Royals (20-24)

LP: Yunior Marte (1-3)
HR: None

Burlington lost the rubber game vs. Bluefield. Yunior Marte struck out four while allowing five runs, six hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Three runs came on a pair of homers by Lydell Moseby, son of former Toronto star Lloyd Moseby. Jose Martinez drove in two and Joshua Banuelos was 2-for-4 with an RBI plus two runs.
