Omaha Storm Chasers (60-60)

Yordano Ventura tossed 6.0 scoreless innings and the offense scored eight in the fifth inning of a home win. Ventura fanned nine while scattering four hits and a walk. He has 133 strikeouts in 112.1 combined innings with Northwest Arkansas and Omaha. Brian Fletcher's three-run homer keyed the eight-run fifth. Gorkys Hernandez had a big fifth inning, recording two doubles, two RBI and two runs.

NW Arkansas Naturals (23-25 2nd half, 48-70 overall)

The Naturals were held to one run in San Antonio after scoring 12 on Thursday at Corpus Christi. Lane Adams recorded the lone Naturals RBI, driving in Cheslor Cuthbert in the seventh. Cuthbert finished 2-for-4 with a double. Jorge Bonifacio added two hits and is batting .297 (11-for-37) since his promotion from Wilmington. Starter Sugar Ray Marimon allowed four runs on seven hits and no walks over 6.0 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (20-26 2nd half, 53-63 overall)

Wilmington 10, Lynchburg 8

HR: None

Wilmington followed an 11-run output on Thursday with 10 on Friday. The Blue Rocks broke a 6-6 tie with three runs in the sixth. Justin Trapp recorded three hits and three runs, plus the go-ahead RBI. Geulin Beltre posted two hits and three RBI. Jared Schlehuber added two safeties and two RBI, bringing his team-leading total to 59.

Lexington Legends (30-18 2nd half, 63-53 overall)

HR: Bubba Starling (10), Raul Mondesi (7)

Bubba Starling's two-run homer capped a three-run sixth as Lexington moved to 2-0 in the series. Starling also doubled home Terrance Gore for Lexington's first run in the fourth. Starling is 9-for-18 over his last five games. Raul Mondesi added two hits, including a solo homer. Gore took over the league lead in steals with 62. Crawford Simmons limited the Suns to a run over 6.0 IP.

Idaho Falls Chukars (6-4 2nd half, 25-23 overall)

Idaho Falls 14, Grand Junction 6

HR: None

Idaho Falls built a 10-0 lead en route to a second straight win in Colorado. Alexis Rivera and Humberto Arteaga each drove in a pair in a seven-run third. Arteaga recorded three hits, three RBI and two runs. Frank Schwindel finished with two hits, three RBI and a run. Zane Evans added three hits and three runs. Brent Bonvillain tossed 3.0 scoreless innings for the relief win.

Burlington Royals (22-26)

HR: Chris Sweeney (#2)

Chris Sweeney scored on a fielder's choice in the seventh, lifting Burlington to an opening win over the Twins. Sweeney also hit a solo homer in the fourth. Starter Zach Lovvorn carried a shutout into the fifth, allowing three runs, three hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. Cruz Guevara (2.0 IP, 2 H) earned the relief win.

Surprise Royals (5-7 2nd half, 15-25 overall)

The Surprise Royals were off on Friday. They host the Arizona Angels tonight.
