Omaha Storm Chasers (56-35)

Royals prospect Wil Myers earned MVP honors as the Pacific Coast League won the Triple-A All-Star Game at Buffalo, N.Y. Myers singled home a run in the first, extending the PCL's lead to 2-0. Myers doubled and scored the game's final run in the fourth. Clint Robinson struck out in his lone plate appearance in the seventh. Ryan Verdugo worked around a walk for a scoreless third. Tommy Hottovy retired both batters that he faced in the eighth.

NW Arkansas Naturals (5-13 in second half, 42-46 overall)

Northwest Arkansas was off on Wednesday. They start a four-game series at Springfield tonight.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-11 in second half, 38-52 overall)

Wilmington 6, Potomac 2
WP: Brooks Pounders (2-2)
HR: Matt Fields (seven)

Wilmington opened a four-game home set with a win over Potomac. Pounders fanned eight while limiting the Nationals to two runs on seven hits and a walk. Fields recorded three hits, including his seventh home run over his last 10 games. Cheslor Cuthbert added two hits and two RBIs. Cuthvert is batting .319 (15-for-47) over his last 10 contests.

Kane County Cougars (11-8 in second half, 45-44 overall)

Kane County 3, South Bend 0
WP: Aaron Brooks (6-9)
SV: Robinson Yambati (two)
HR: None

Brooks tossed 7 shutout innings to lead Kane County past South Bend. Brooks struck out six, while yielding four hits and no walks. Jorge Bonifacio recorded his 50th RBI of the year in the sixth.

Idaho Falls Chukars (10-13)

Helena 8, Idaho Falls 7
LP: Cory Hall (0-1)
HR: None

The Chukars lost the series opener as they let a 7-5 lead slip away at home. Jerico Blanco finished with three hits, two RBI and two runs. Rainer Bello added two hits and two runs.

Burlington Royals (13-7)

Burlington's game at Kingsport was postponed due to rain. A doubleheader is scheduled for Thursday, with the first contest set for 5:00 p.m.

Surprise Royals (7-8)

Arizona Indians 3, Surprise Royals 1LP: Michael Giovenco (0-1)
HR: None

The Surprise Royals lost at Goodyear. The Indians plated a pair in the third off of Giovenco. Ramon Torres scored the lone Surprise run in the ninth. Alfredo Escalera-Maldonado led the Royals with two hits.
