Omaha Storm Chasers (46-54)

Omaha improved to 2-1 in New Mexico. Yordano Ventura limited the Isotopes to a run on six hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. Will Smith retired all nine batters he faced, including five strikeouts and Donnie Joseph worked around a home run to record his fourth save. Anthony Seratelli had two hits, including a solo home run.

NW Arkansas Naturals (16-13 2nd half, 41-58 overall)

NW Arkansas 3, Springfield 1

HR: Rey Navarro (9)

2012 first-rounder Kyle Zimmer impressed in his Double-A debut, firing 6.0 shutout innings and earning the win. Zimmer fanned seven, walked one and scattered three hits. Brian Fletcher gave Zimmer all the offense he would need with a two-run double in the first. Rey Navarro hit a solo homer in the second. Northwest Arkansas can complete a four-game sweep this evening.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (14-14 2nd half, 47-501overall)

Myrtle Beach 11, Wilmington 3

HR: None

Wilmington was swept in a four-game set at Myrtle Beach. John Lamb was solved for six runs on 10 hits and a walk over 2.0 innings plus two batters. Daniel Hernandez tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless relief. Jorge Bonifacio led Wilmington with two hits, raising his average to .310 (54-for-174). The Blue Rocks are at Carolina (Indians) today.

Lexington Legends (18-9 2nd half, 51-44 overall)

Lexington 4, Greenville 1
WP: Miguel Almonte (4-7)
SV: Mark Peterson (13)
HR: Mark Threlkeld (3)

The Legends ran their winning streak to six with an opening win at Greenville. Futures Game participant Miguel Almonte struck out 10 while holding the Drive to an unearned run, three hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Bubba Starling recorded two hits and an RBI.

Idaho Falls Chukars (13-16)

Idaho Falls 6, Missoula 5 (10 innings)
WP: Kyle Bartsch (1-0)
HR: Beau Maggi (1)

Idaho Falls walked off in the series opener as 2013 first-rounder Hunter Dozier singled home Humberto Arteaga in the 10th. Dozier had two RBI on the night. Beau Maggi, a 24th-round pick in 2012, finished 3-for-4 with his first professional home run.

Burlington Royals (13-15)

Burlington 6, Pulaski 5
WP: Ben Tomchick (1-1)
SV: Andrew Edwards (4)
HR: Ramon Torres (4)

Burlington won the opener vs. Pulaski. Ramon Torres was 4-for-4 with a two-run home run, three RBI, two runs and a walk. Ben Tomchick tossed 3.0 scoreless innings for the relief win and Andrew Edwards worked 2.0 innings for his fourth save.

Surprise Royals (9-15)

The Royals were off on Saturday. They host the Angels today in Surprise.
