Omaha Storm Chasers (64-45)

Omaha 11, Oklahoma City 1
WP: Jake Odorizzi (8-1, 12-3 overall)
HR: None

Omaha rolled to a win at Oklahoma City on Sunday. Wil Myers recorded two hits, two walks, three RBIs and a run. Irving Falu and Johnny Giavotella added two RBIs apiece. Odorizzi worked 5 2/3 innings, yielding a run on seven hits and three walks.

NW Arkansas Naturals (9-27 in second half, 46-60 overall)

NW Arkansas 3, Springfield 2
WP: Mike Montgomery (2-2 with NW Arkansas, 5-8 overall)
SV: Juan Gutierrez (three)
HR: Yem Prades (seven)

Northwest Arkansas moved to 2-1 in a four-game series against Springfield. Montgomery scattered two runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings. Prades tied the score at 1-1 with a homer in the first. He also produced the go-ahead run with a single in the sixth.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (18-18 in second half, 47-59 overall)

Carolina 5, Wilmington 2
LP: Jason Adam (3-11)
HR: None

Wilmington dropped the rubber game against Carolina on Sunday. Adam allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks over 4 2/3 innings. Wilmington is averaging just 3.1 runs per game in starts by Adam. Geulin Beltre and Brett Eibner each drove in a run for the Blue Rocks.

Kane County Cougars (18-17 in second half, 52-53 overall)

Kane County 5, Quad Cities 1
WP: Aaron Brooks (9-9)
HR: Tim Ferguson (five)

Brooks tossed a complete game, as Kane County won at home. Brooks held the River Bandits scoreless after allowing an unearned run in the first. He scattered eight hits without a walk. Ferguson finished a double shy of the cycle, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs.

Idaho Falls Chukars (18-21)

Idaho Falls 9, Grand Junction 8 (10 innings)
WP: Kevin Allen (1-1)
HR: None

Jin-Ho Shin's double in the 10th scored Elier Hernandez, lifting Idaho Falls to the win. Nick DelGuidice recorded three hits, two RBIs and a run. Chin and Adalberto Mondesi added two hits and two RBIs apiece. Ethan Chapman singled and walked three times. He has a hit in nine straight games (.378, 14-for-37).

Burlington Royals (25-9)

Burlington 5, Princeton 4
WP: Jake Junis (2-2)
SV: John Walter (six)

Burlington scored four in the first and held on to win in its opener with Princeton. Kenny Diekroeger cleared the bases with a three-run triple, scoring Terrance Gore, Humberto Arteaga and Bubba Starling. Cam Gallagher singled home Diekroeger. Junis limited the Rays to two runs on seven hits over seven innings.

Surprise Royals (13-17)

Surprise 5, AZL Brewers 4
WP: Jake Newberry (1-0)
SV: Darwin Castillo (one)
HR: Ramon Torres two (two, three)

Surprise scored three runs in the fifth to win at home. Torres went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo homers. Bobby Fisher-Brown had two RBIs, including the go-ahead run on a sac fly. Newberry tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief for his first pro win. Castillo worked the final three frames for the save.
