Omaha Storm Chasers (56-53)

The Storm Chasers lost in their return to Werner Park. Memphis scored all four runs in the fifth off of Brooks (six innings, nine hits, four earned runs, one walk, no strikeouts). Omaha also scored in the fifth, as Matt Fields doubled, moved to third on Paulo Orlando's single and scored on Justin Maxwell's sacrifice fly. Tyler Lyons threw a complete game for Memphis.

NW Arkansas Naturals (19-20 second half, 44-65 overall)

The Naturals evened a road set at a game apiece. Arkansas native Ferguson held the Travelers to a run, three hits and three walks with six strikeouts over six innings. Orlando Calixte put the Naturals on top with a two-run single in the third. He added two walks and a stolen base. Mitch Maier had a single, a walk and two runs.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (18-18 second half, 51-53 overall)

Lynchburg 4, Wilmington 2
LP: Andrew Edwards (0-1 with Wilmington, 3-6 overall)

The Blue Rocks lost Game 1 at Lynchburg. Wilmington evened the score at 2-2 in the eighth, with Lynchburg plating a pair in the home half. Jack Lopez doubled home both runs. He also had a single and a stolen base in the first. Starter Glenn Sparkman fanned seven and walked none, holding the Hillcats to two runs and five hits over seven innings.

Lexington Legends (14-25 second half, 43-66 overall)

Savannah 8, Lexington 3

HR: Dex Kjerstad (5)

Lexington finished 3-2 vs. Savannah. Junis (four innings, three hits, four earned runs, four walks, three strikeouts) allowed four runs in the fourth. Kjerstad homered for a second time in a three-game stretch (two days). Carlos Garcia stole two bases, bringing his team-leading total to 22, which is tied for 11th in the league.

Idaho Falls Chukars (1-2 second half, 21-20 overall)

Idaho Falls 9, Ogden 8 (16 innings)
WP: Brandon Thomas (2-0)
HR: None

Pedro Gonzalez and Brandon Thomasson recorded back-to-back doubles as Idaho Falls won a marathon. Ogden scored five in the eighth to force extras, with both teams scoring a run in the 14th. Brandon Downes had three hits and three RBIs. Mike Hill and Ryan O'Hearn added three hits apiece.

Burlington Royals (18-20)

Pulaski 3, Burlington 1
LP: Niklas Stephenson (1-3)
HR: Riley King (1)

Burlington dropped to 1-1 as Pulaski scored three unearned runs in the third. Stephenson (seven innings, three hits, three runs, no earned runs, three walks, two strikeouts) took the loss. Antonio Cruz fanned four over two perfect innings in a rehab outing. King hit his first professional home run. He was Kansas City's 24th-round pick in 2013.
