Lamb logged seven impressive innings as Omaha evened the series at 1-1. He allowed a hit and two walks along with seven strikeouts over seven innings. Lamb has a 1.13 ERA over his last 24.0 innings, allowing three earned runs while striking out 28. Whit Merrfield was 3-for-5 with a run, raising his Triple-A average to .365 (70-for-192). Johnny Giavotella and Carlos Peguero drove in two runs each.
NW Arkansas Naturals (19-20 second half, 44-65 overall)
The Naturals had their finale at Arkansas postponed, with a doubleheader scheduled for Aug. 24. They begin a four-game series tonight at Tulsa (Rockies).
Wilmington Blue Rocks (19-18 second half, 52-53 overall)

The Blue Rocks evened a road set at a game apiece. Jack Lopez delivered a three-run double in the second. Starling added a solo homer in the seventh. Starling, ranked 13th among Royals prospects by MLB.com, is batting .350 (14-for-40), with three home runs over his last 10 games. Santos earned a relief win, striking out five while allowing a run on two hits and no walks over five innings.
Lexington Legends (14-25 second half, 43-66 overall)
The Legends had Wednesday off. They are at West Virginia (Pirates) tonight.
Idaho Falls Chukars (1-3 second half, 21-21 overall)

Idaho Falls lost the series opener as Grand Junction scored the final five runs. Pedro Gonzalez was 2-for-2, with a double, an RBI and a run. Lovvorn scattered three runs (one earned), five hits, two walks and three strikeouts over six innings.

Burlington lost a matinee finale in 10 innings. Starter Yunior Marte carried a shutout into the sixth, allowing two runs, two hits and two walks with five strikeouts over six innings. D.J. Burt and Manny Olique recorded two hits and a run apiece.
