Omaha Storm Chasers (31-30)

Omaha won game one at New Orleans on Francisco Pena's homer in the 11th. Moises Sierra started the scoring with a fifth-inning home run. He added a second RBI in the sixth and finished 3-for-5. Casey Kotchman was also 3-for-5. Aaron Brooks struck out six without a walk over 6.0 innings, allowing two runs. LSU product Louis Coleman struck out five batters in a row, finishing with 3.0 perfect innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (34-24)

NW Arkansas 7, Tulsa 3

Northwest Arkansas won a second straight as the series shifted to Tulsa. Kenny Diekroeger started a five-run third inning with a home run. Hunter Dozier's three-run double capped the inning. Terrance Gore scored twice and stole two bases, bringing his league-leading total to 23. Luke Farrell earned his first Double-A win, holding Tulsa to two runs, five hits and a walk with six strikeouts over 7.0 innings. He has 55 strikeouts and 11 walks through 44.1 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (34-26)

Winston-Salem 3, Wilmington 2

The Blue Rocks were held to three hits in the finale at Winston-Salem. Jake Junis pitched well in defeat, yielding three runs, six hits and a walk with five strikeouts. He allowed a two-run homer in the first, with Winston-Salem adding a run in the third. Dominique Taylor doubled home Dex Kjerstad and Jack Lopez in the fifth, bringing Wilmington to within a run. Cody Stubbs had an 11-game hitting streak snapped.

Lexington Legends (26-34)

Lakewood 7, Lexington 6 (11 innings)

HR: Alfredo Escalera (8), Chase Vallot (4), Chad Johnson (1)

Lexington lost in 11 innings as Carlos Tocci hit a go-ahead homer for Lakewood. Chad Johnson's two-run homer tied the game at 6-6 in the 10th. Alfredo Escalera and Chase Vallot also homered for the Legends. Starter Nik Stephenson fanned six over 5.0 innings, allowing three runs (two earned). Kyle Zimmer pitched 3.0 innings in relief, allowing a run, four hits and no walks with three strikeouts. He has a 1.17 ERA through 7.2 innings (1 ER).
