Omaha Storm Chasers (28-34)

Omaha dropped to 1-1 at Nashville, with Yordano Ventura (4.2 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 5 SO) taking his first Triple-A loss. Veterans George Sherrill (1.1 IP) and Brian Sanches (2.0 IP) held the Sounds hitless in relief. Irving Falu hit his first homer of the year in the seventh. Jarrod Dyson was 2-for-4 in the fifth game of a rehab assignment (right ankle sprain).

NW Arkansas Naturals (20-42)

Arkansas 3, NW Arkansas 2
LP: Noel Arguelles (1-8)
HR: None

The Naturals fell short in their bid for a four-game sweep. Felipe Paulino made his first rehab start as he returns from "Tommy John" surgery. Paulino carried a no-hitter into the fifth, holding Arkansas scoreless on two hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. The righty fanned six and tossed 67 pitches, 42 for strikes. Arkansas plated three in the eighth off of Noel Arguelles. Orlando Calixte doubled twice and drove in a run for Northwest Arkansas.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (31-34)

Salem 3, Wilmington 1
LP: Tyler Sample (0-2)
HR: None

Wilmington dropped a second straight at Salem. Starter Tyler Sample allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and four walks over 5.0 innings. Spencer Patton scattered four hits over 4.0 scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 1.37 (6 ER in 39.1 IP). Tyler Chism was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Jack Lopez singled Chism home in the third.

Lexington Legends (33-30)

Rome 4, Lexington 1
LP: Crawford Simmons (0-1)
HR: None

The Legends drew seven walks but were limited to two hits. Mark Threlkeld (1-for-3) drew a bases-loaded walk in his first game since Opening Day as he returns from a broken left arm. 2011 second-round pick Cam Gallagher made his first appearance since April 24 due to a broken hand. Lefty Crawford Simmons took the loss in his first outing since 2011. He missed all of last year with an elbow injury.
