Omaha Storm Chasers (32-30)

Omaha won a second straight at New Orleans. The game was scoreless until Casey Kotchman's solo shot in the seventh. New Orleans tied the game in the home half, but Paulo Orlando's sac fly in the 8th put Omaha on top to stay. Whit Merrifield scored the go-ahead run, finishing 3-for-5 plus a stolen base. John Lamb tossed four scoreless innings, fanning four while allowing two hits and three walks.

NW Arkansas Naturals (35-25)

The Naturals split a pair of seven-inning games in Tulsa. They scored six times over the final two innings in Game 1, all on home runs. Zane Evans clubbed a pair of roundtrippers, including a go-ahead three-run shot in the seventh. Lane Adams added a two-run blast. Jonathan Dziedzic went the distance, allowing four runs (two earned) while striking out one. The Naturals scored three in the first inning in Game 2 before falling short. Hunter Dozier drove in two runs and Raul Mondesi posted three hits.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (34-27)

Salem 4, Wilmington 2

The Blue Rocks fell short in Game 1 at Salem. Santiago Nessy's solo homer gave Wilmington a 2-1 lead in the fifth, with Salem scoring three on a roundtripper by Sam Travis in the home half. Nessy posted two of the five Wilmington hits and is now 7-for-16 (.438) over his past five games. Cody Reed allowed season highs of four runs and eight hits over 7.0 innings, striking out five. He has a 1.72 ERA on the year (12 ER in 62.2 IP).

Lexington Legends (27-34)

Lexington 18, Greensboro 7

HR: None

Lexington scored nine in the fifth and a season-high 18 on the night. Samir Duenez was 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs. Alfredo Escalera had three RBIs and three runs while Chad Johnson posted two doubles, three RBIs and two runs. Elier Hernandez added three hits, three runs and two RBIs. Yunior Marte earned a relief win, fanning six over 4 2/3 innings.
