Omaha Storm Chasers (32-31)

Omaha 0, New Orleans 0 (Suspended in the first inning)

Danny Duffy recorded one out in the bottom of the first before heavy rain descended upon New Orleans, stopping play. The game will resume at some point when the Zephyrs visit Omaha from June 30 to July 3. The Storm Chasers host Iowa (Cubs) tonight.

NW Arkansas Naturals (37-25)

NW Arkansas 9, Arkansas 6

A five-run fifth propelled the Naturals to a 7-4 lead and a second consecutive win over Arkansas. Jorge Bonifacio hit a two-run homer, tying the game at 4-4. The 22-year old tied his career-best of 10 home runs, first set in 2012 at Kane County. Hunter Dozier had two hits, including a leadoff home run in the fourth. Balbino Fuenmayor was 3-for-5 plus an RBI and two runs. Daniel Stumpf tossed 2.2 scoreless innings for the win.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (34-29)

Salem 7, Wilmington 0

The Blue Rocks were blanked for a second straight day and swept in a three-game set at Salem. Santiago Nessy had two of the five Wilmington hits. Yender Caramo took the loss, allowing two runs, six hits and a walk with a strikeout over 4.0 innings. Wilmington's magic number to clinch the first-half division crown is five. The home-and-home set vs. Salem continues tonight at Frawley Stadium.

Lexington Legends (28-35)

Greensboro 4, Lexington 2 (10 innings)

The Legends let a late lead slip away as they dropped to 2-1 in a four-game set. Greensboro scored in the eighth and ninth innings, moving ahead on a two-run homer in the 10th. Pedro Fernandez fanned five over 4.2 scoreless innings, scattering four hits and a walk.
