Omaha Storm Chasers (39-34)

The Storm Chasers lost two games in Des Moines. Iowa won the opener on a walk-off double in the 10th. Starter Yohan Pino worked 6.0 innings, allowing two runs, five hits and no walks with five strikeouts. Casey Kotchman hit a two-run homer in the fourth, knotting the game at 2-2. Dusty Coleman was 3-for-4 with a double. Iowa scored the only run of game two on a two-out single in the first. Clayton Mortensen pitched 5.0 innings, allowing the run, two hits and a walk while striking out eight.

NW Arkansas Naturals (0-3 Second Half, 40-33 Overall)

Tulsa 3, NW Arkansas 2
LP: J.C. Sulbaran (4-6)
HR: Balbino Fuenmayor (15)

The Naturals lost in their return to Arvest Ballpark. Balbino Fuenmayor hit a solo homer in the ninth, bringing Northwest Arkansas to within a run. He leads the Texas League with 15 roundtrippers. J.C. Sulbaran allowed three runs, eight hits and a walk with three strikeouts over 6.0 innings. Daniel Stumpf (1.0 IP) and Malcom Culver (2.0 IP) posted scoreless relief outings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (38-32)

Wilmington 0, Potomac 0 (Suspended in the third)

The Blue Rocks returned to action after the All-Star Break, however, their game vs. Potomac was suspended due to rain. There was no score when play was stopped in the middle of the third. Yender Caramo fired 3.0 perfect innings, striking out one. Play is scheduled to resume tonight at 5:05 Eastern, with a seven-inning contest to follow.

Lexington Legends (1-0 second half, 32-39 overall)

Lexington 6, Savannah 2
WP: Scott Blewett (2-0)
HR: Corey Toups (4)

Lexington opened the second half with a victory at Savannah. Scott Blewett (6.0 IP) earned the win and Kyle Zimmer tossed 2.0 scoreless innings. Elier Hernandez had three hits and three RBI. Corey Toups scored three times, including a solo homer.

Idaho Falls Chukars (3-5)

Ogden 11, Idaho Falls 8
LP: Brian Bayliss (0-1)
HR: Brawlun Gomez (3)

Idaho Falls rallied from a 7-0 deficit with eight in the seventh, only to have Ogden post four runs in the home half. Brawlun Gomez gave the Chukars a temporary lead with a grand slam. Luis Valenzuela posted two hits and two RBI.

Burlington Royals (1-2)

Princeton 5, Burlington 4
LP: Joseph Markus (0-1)
HR: None

Burlington lost the rubber game at Princeton. Lee's Summit native Brandon Dulin went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run. Catcher Xavier Fernandez added three hits. Starter Emmanuel Camacho pitched 5.0 innings, yielding three runs with three K's.

Surprise Royals (3-1)

The Surprise Royals had Thursday off. They play at the Arizona Angels tonight.
