Omaha Storm Chasers (31-28)

Omaha completed a 6-2 road trip, moving to 12-4 against Round Rock. Matt Fields put Omaha on top with an RBI double in the second. He added a two-run homer in the fifth. Brian Bocock was 4-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI. Jimmy Paredes posted a single, two doubles and two runs. Ryan Verdugo (5.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 SO) won a second straight start. Casey Coleman tossed 2.0 scoreless innings, fanning four. Louis Coleman allowed a run over the final 2.0 innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (19-37)

Tulsa 8, Northwest Arkansas 5

The Naturals lost game one vs. Tulsa. Bruce Chen made his first rehab appearance as he returns from a bulging disk, allowing a pair of solo homers and eight hits over 3.0 innings. Chen struck out three without a walk, throwing 46 pitches and 35 strikes. Cheslor Cuthbert hit a two-run homer in the fourth. The third baseman is ranked 19th among Royals prospects by MLB.com. Mark Threlkeld added two hits and an RBI. Lane Adams was 2-for-4 with a double, a run and two stolen bases.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (29-28)

Wilmington scored two in the seventh to win the opener vs. Potomac. Sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier continued his hot hitting, doubling twice and driving in three. He batting .431 since May 20 (22-for-51). Fifth-ranked prospect Miguel Almonte picked up his fourth win, recording four strikeouts with three runs, five hits and two walks over 7.0 innings. Mark Peterson worked through a bases-loaded situation for his league-leading 11th save.

Lexington Legends (24-34)

Greenville 3, Lexington 1

HR: None

Lexington fell to 0-2 at Greenville, with all of the scoring from the sixth inning on. Luke Farrell (5.2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 3 SO) allowed just two hits through the first five innings. Dominique Taylor was 2-for-4 with a run scored. The South Atlantic League All-Star has four multi-hit contests in his last five games and a .313 average overall. Ramon Torres added two hits and is batting .316.
