Omaha Storm Chasers (26-33)

Omaha 1, Oklahoma City 0 - Suspended in the first inning

Omaha held a 1-0 lead in the first when the game was suspended due to rain. The game will be resumed at that point on July 23 as part of a doubleheader. Chris Dwyer struck out the side in the first. Jarrod Dyson singled, moved to third on a Christian Colon single, then scored on Johnny Giavotella's double. Everett Teaford starts on Sunday for the Storm Chasers.

NW Arkansas Naturals (18-41)

Matt Fields homered twice and drove in four to lead the Naturals past Arkansas. Fields' first homer tied the game at 1-1 in the fourth. He put the Naturals ahead to stay with a three-run shot in the fifth. Aaron Brooks, a ninth-round pick in 2011, won his Double-A debut (6.0 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO). Santiago Garrido tossed 2.0 scoreless frames while former big leaguer Zach Jackson notched his first pro save.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (31-31)

Winston-Salem 9, Wilmington 5

HR: Kenny Swab (3), Jared Schlehuber (3)

A second straight loss at Winston-Salem dropped the Blue Rocks to .500. The Dash scored four in the first and never trailed. John Lamb (4.0 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO) allowed three home runs, accounting for five runs. Kenny Swab homered to lead off the third. Jared Schlehuber followed with a two-run shot in the eighth.

Lexington Legends (32-29)

Lexington 8, Augusta 2

HR: Fred Ford (7)

Fred Ford's two-run homer keyed a five-run fifth as Lexington moved to 1-1 at Augusta. Ethan Chapman went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run while Humberto Arteaga added three hits and a run. Miguel Almonte (6.0 IP, 6 H, 2 ER) earned the win and Daniel Hernandez retired nine straight in relief.
