The Storm Chasers won a second straight to earn a 2-2 series split. Francisley Bueno made a rehab appearance, fanning five while holding the Zephyrs to a hit over 3.0 innings. Brett Tomko (4.0 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 6 SO), Buddy Baumann (1.0 IP, 1 SO) and Spencer Patton (1.0 IP, 1 H, 2 SO) completed the shutout. Jimmy Paredes was 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, an RBI and two runs. The Storm Chasers are off on Wednesday and at Memphis (Cardinals) on Thursday.

NW Arkansas Naturals (15-23)

The Naturals had a season-high four-game winning streak snapped. Tim Melville fanned a career-high 10 batters over 5.0 innings, allowing four runs, six hits and two walks. Whit Merrifield was 3-for-5 with a solo homer. He's batting .297 (38-for-128) on the year. Edinson Rincon added two hits and two RBI. < Wilmington Blue Rocks (17-19)

Jonathan Dziedzic had another dominant outing, leading Wilmington to a second straight win over Salem. He struck out eight without a walk over 7.0 innings, allowing one run on four hits. The lefty lowered his ERA to 1.59 (7 ER in 39.2 IP) and has 44 strikeouts against just eight walks. Wilmington scored three in the third, including a pair of unearned runs. Mark Peterson earned his seventh save, which ranks second in the league.

Lexington Legends (17-21)

Lexington 4, Greensboro 3

HR: Chad Johnson (3)

Chad Johnson's grand slam was the difference in Lexington's matinee win. It was the second homer in as many days for Johnson, KC's fifth-round pick in 2012. Jake Junis fanned six over 6.0 innings, allowing just three hits, including back-to-back solo homers in the second inning.
