Omaha Storm Chasers (20-23)

Omaha won a matinee to even a four-game set at a game apiece. John Lamb fanned seven while allowing a run, six hits and three walks over 5 1/3 innings. Michael Mariot (1 IP, 1 H, 3 SO), Francisley Bueno (1 2/3 IP, 1 H, 2 SO) and Spencer Patton (1 IP, 1 SO) followed Lamb. Matt Fields doubled home the go-ahead run in the fourth, and Carlos Peguero added a two-run homer in the eighth. Paulo Orlando (2-for-3) extended his road hitting streak to 19 official games. He hit safely in a 20th contest that was suspended due to rain.

NW Arkansas Naturals (16-27)

The Naturals enjoyed an off-day at home. They host San Antonio (Padres) on Wednesday.

Wilmington won the opener of a seven-game homestand. Sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier was 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs. Seventh-ranked prospect Bubba Starling scored three runs and extended his hitting streak to eight games, during which he's hitting .310 (9-for-29). Michael Antonio, Zane Evans and Terrance Gore added two RBIs apiece. Evans is ranked 16th among Royals prospects by MLB.com. Eleventh-ranked prospect Christian Binford struck out eight while scattering two runs, six hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings. He has 56 strikeouts over 46 innings.

Lexington missed a chance for a four-game sweep as Hagerstown scored in every inning from the fourth to the ninth. Chad Johnson, Frank Schwindel and Dominique Taylor recorded three hits apiece for Lexington. Schwindel has hit in five straight games at a .600 clip (12-for-20). Taylor has hit in eight of his last nine (.412, 14-for-34).
