Omaha Storm Chasers (27-27)

Omaha lost a heartbreaker as Oklahoma City plated a pair in the ninth. John Lamb posted 6 2/3 scoreless innings, scattering three hits and a walk to go with two strikeouts. Mike Moustakas singled home Johnny Giavotella in the fourth. "Moose" recorded his second straight three-hit game and is batting .344 with Omaha (11-for-32). The Storm Chasers, who narrowly missed in their bid for a four-game sweep, move on to Round Rock (Rangers).

NW Arkansas Naturals (18-35)

Corpus Christi 7, NW Arkansas 2

Northwest Arkansas lost the first of three at Corpus Christi. J.C. Sulbaran fanned three while allowing three runs, six hits and three walks over five innings. Jorge Bonifacio had three hits, including two doubles. The Royals' No. 3 prospect according to MLB.com, Bonifacio recorded his 34th RBI, which is third in the league. No. 9 prospect Orlando Calixte added two singles and an RBI. He's batting .304 on the year (21-for-69).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (27-26)

Wilmington dropped the opener of a four-game series. No. 11 prospect Christian Binford had his ERA rise to 2.68 as he allowed a season-high five runs (four earned) on eight hits over four innings. He struck out three and walked none, giving him 67 strikeouts against 11 walks. The Blue Rocks have the top four strikeout totals in the league with Binford, Miguel Almonte (57), Jonathan Dziedzic (54) and Sean Manaea (53).

Hunter Dozier doubled twice and scored. He has six multi-hit games in his last 10 contests. Manaea, Almonte and Dozier are ranked fourth, fifth and sixth among Royals prospects by MLB.com.

Lexington Legends (24-30)

Lexington 8, Augusta 3
WP: Crawford Simmons (1-1)
HR: Frank Schwindel 2 (6, 7)

Frank Schwindel homered twice and drove in five to lead Lexington past Augusta. He has four 14 RBIs in his last four games and 22 over his last 13 contests. Alfredo Escalera was 2-for-5 with two runs. He has seven hits and eight runs in his last three games. Crawford Simmons tossed five scoreless innings, striking out two while yielding four hits and a walk.
