Omaha Storm Chasers (15-18)

Omaha won a back-and-forth slugfest at Round Rock. Seven starters recorded multiple hits, led by Paulo Orlando, who had three singles and a triple. Matt Fields hit a two-run homer and finished with three RBI. Francisco Pena added his team-leading seventh home run. Francisley Bueno made his third rehab appearance, allowing four runs (three earned) over 2.0 innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (12-22)

NW Arkansas 9, Springfield 1

Northwest Arkansas scored the final eight runs to win easily at home. The Naturals plated five in the sixth, including a two-run single by Jorge Bonifacio, who is tied for the Texas League lead with 23 RBIs. Bonifacio is ranked third among Royals prospects by MLB.com. Seven Naturals had multi-hit games, led by Parker Morin's three safeties. 12th-ranked Royals prospect Sam Selman earned his second Double-A win, striking out three while holding Springfield to a run on three hits and two walks through 5.0 innings. < Wilmington Blue Rocks (15-17)

Wilmington 3, Lynchburg 2

Wilmington scored two in the eighth to even a home set at 1-1. Johermyn Chavez scored the go-ahead run on a walk to Cody Stubbs. Chavez put Wilmington on the board with a sixth inning single, plating number six prospect Hunter Dozier. Reigning Carolina League Pitcher of the Week and number 11 Royals prospect Christian Binford was excellent again, taking a shutout into the seventh. He fanned eight while allowing two runs, three hits and two walks over 7.0 IP, giving him 42 strikeouts and a 2.04 ERA on the year.

Lexington Legends (14-20)

Asheville 7, Lexington 4

HR: Carlos Garcia (1)

Lexington fell short in a bid for a three-game sweep. Carlos Garcia recorded three RBI, including a two-run homer in the fourth. Frank Schwindel added two singles and an RBI. Starter Andrew Edwards struck out six while yielding four runs (two earned), five hits and two walks in 5.1 innings. The Legends are at Greensboro (Marlins) tonight.
