Royals playoff tickets go on sale today

KANSAS CITY -- With the regular season winding down, the Royals announced that potential American League Wild Card and AL Divisional Series tickets will go on sale to the general public this morning.

Kansas City will be selling a limited number of tickets at 10 a.m. CT for possible postseason games at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals asked fans to arrive no earlier than 8:30 a.m., and park in Lot M.

Fans interested in entering a random drawing procedure for purchasing playoff tickets at The K should visit royals.com/postseason for more details.

Following Wednesday's action, Kansas City is just a half-game back of Detroit for first place in the AL Central and tied with Oakland for the top Wild Card, two games ahead of the Mariners.
