San Francisco Giants Announce Promotions For Front Office Executives

San Francisco Giants President and CEO Larry Baer recently announced the following promotions for the three-time World Champions executive staff members whose years of loyal and dedicated service span more than four decades.

"All of these individuals have played an integral part in building the San Francisco Giants into one of the premier professional sports teams. Under their leadership, each of their departments has thrived to become models for the industry," said Baer.

Mario Alioto has been named Executive Vice President, Business Operations. Alioto enters his 32nd season and oversees revenue departments, including marketing, sponsorship, ticket sales and retail. Under Alioto's leadership, Giants business operations have set a new standard in the industry breaking records in key business areas, including ticket sales, season ticket renewals, sponsorship revenue and retail sales.

Jack Bair has been named Executive Vice President and General Counsel.  Bair enters his 22nd season and plays a pivotal role in baseball and business operations, particularly in the area of contract and labor negotiations. Bair oversees the team's government affairs activities. He played a key role in the building of AT&T Park and is now in charge of leading the Mission Rock project to create a mixed-use, 28-acre neighborhood on the current site of Giants Lot A.

Alfonso Felder has been named Executive Vice President, Administration.  Felder is responsible for ballpark operations, spring training, Giants Enterprises and Human Resources. During his 20 years, Felder has also played an integral role in developing the Giants neighborhood relationships and has led the organization's efforts with Major League Baseball in hosting the 2007 All-Star Game and the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

Staci Slaughter has been named Executive Vice President, Communications and Senior Advisor to the CEO.  Slaughter is in her 19th season with the Giants and is responsible for the overall image of the organization, including organizational messaging, public relations, media relations, community outreach, public affairs and corporate issues. She also works closely with the marketing group to grow the Giants brand. Additionally, Slaughter works with the Mission Rock team to provide political and communications strategy. She serves as senior advisor to Baer on issues related to his office and the overall management of the organization.

Russ Stanley has been named Senior Vice President, Ticket Sales and Services.  In his 26th year with the organization, Stanley manages all ticket operations, which include individual ticket sales, customer service and retention and ensuring that the franchise's 30,500 full season ticket members receive quality service and a first-rate ballpark experience. Stanley also developed and implemented the Dynamic Ticket Pricing model that is commonplace in sports today.

Jason Pearl has been named Senior Vice President, Sponsorship and Business Development.  Pearl is in his 23rd year with the Giants. He is responsible for establishing and growing the organization's strategic corporate partnerships, which include creating programs that connect Giants fans and sponsors while enhancing the overall experience for both. Pearl also creates business opportunities by working internally to leverage relationships that drive integrated partnership programs. In addition, Pearl has also grown the sales of Giants baseball through media partners and expanded the team's Hispanic marketing efforts.

Stephen Revetria has been named Senior Vice President, Giants Enterprises.  Revetria has been an integral part of Giants Enterprises since its inception in 2000 and has helped guide it from a start-up status to its current position as the industry leader in activating a ballpark with non-baseball events. He has guided some of the biggest names in entertainment to AT&T Park, including recent shows featuring JAY-Z, Beyonce and Paul McCartney, while also maintaining AT&T Park as a premier venue for private and corporate events. Revetria has also expanded Giants Enterprises' growth beyond the walls of AT&T Park to play an important role in the production of events ranging from the 34th America's Cup in San Francisco to the multi-city Giant Race.

Fran Weld has been named Vice President of Strategy and Development.  Weld joined the Giants in 2011. She is responsible for identifying growth opportunities for the organization as well as managing the franchise's real estate development and urban design aspects of Mission Rock. In addition, Weld will work with the management team on financial modeling, ballpark development concepts, new lines of business and capital structuring analysis.
