Cano pulls back Seattle curtain on 'Off the Bat'

Robinson Cano is giving his fans a backstage tour of his life. Cano, making his first trip back to New York since signing a free-agent deal with the Mariners over the offseason, will serve as the executive producer of this week's "Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave," which airs tonight at 11 p.m. ET on MTV 2.

Cano, a former Yankee who was part of the World Series championship team in 2009, worked with MTV to bring a behind-the-scenes package of life in Seattle. Cano welcomed camera crews and took them to famous Pike Place Market, where they threw fish and did some souvenir shopping.

Cano, batting .301 with 11 RBIs in his first 24 games with Seattle, joins some impressive company. Boston's David Ortiz serves as the executive producer for the series, which has featured CC Sabathia, Bryce Harper, Adam Jones and a trio of Cardinals pitchers: Adam Wainwright, Shelby Miller and Michael Wacha.

"Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Club" airs weekly during the season.
