Last day to vote for Astros in Esurance MLB Awards
Keuchel, Correa, McCullers among this year's nominees
Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel is up for Best Major Leaguer and Best Starting Pitcher, and teammates Carlos Correa and Lance McCullers Jr. are among the nominees for Best Rookie in the Esurance MLB Awards.
Keuchel (20-8, 2.48 ERA) led the American League in wins and finished the season ranked second in the AL in ERA. Shortstop Correa hit.279 with 22 homers and 68 RBIs in 99 games. McCullers went 6-7 with a 3.22 ERA in 22 starts since being called up from Double-A Corpus Christi.

Mike Fiers was nominated for Best Performance in throwing an Aug. 21 no-hitter against the Dodgers; George Springer got a nod for Best Defensive Play for his game-saving catch at the wall in April in Arlington; and Jose Altuve did, too, for Best Offensive Play for scoring from first base in 10.093 seconds on a Springer double.

Other Astros nominees include: Best TV Call by broadcaster Bill Brown on a Jason Castro walk-off homer; Best Trending Topic concerning Altuve and Miguel Cabrera untucking each other's jerseys; Best Tending Topic on mascot Orbit's dance with a reluctant security guard; Best Radio Call for Robert Ford's call of Jed Lowrie's dramatic ninth-inning homer to beat the Angels in September; Best Manager, A.J. Hinch; and Best Executive, general manager Jeff Luhnow.
The Esurance MLB Awards annually honor Major League Baseball's greatest achievements as part of an industry-wide balloting process that includes five components, each of which accounts for 20 percent of the overall vote: media, front-office personnel, retired MLB players, fans at MLB.com and Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) voters.
Individual awards will go to the Best Major Leaguer in addition to the winners in the following categories: Best Everyday Player, Starting Pitcher, Rookie, Defensive Player, Breakout Player, Bounceback Player, Manager, Executive, Social Media Personality and Postseason Performer.
Winners will also be recognized for the year's Best Offensive Play, Defensive Play, Moment, Single-Game Performance, Social Media Post, Celebrity Fan, Fan Catch, Interview, TV Call, Radio Call, Player-Fan Interaction, Video Board Moment and Trending Topic.
Voting will remain open through Nov. 13 at mlb.com/awards. Winners will be announced live on MLB Network and MLB.com on Nov. 20.
