• Shortstop Everth Cabrera, on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring, took ground balls, hit and ran in the outfield before Wednesday's game. The intensity level, according to manager Bud Black, was about 75 percent. The team is hopeful Cabrera can rejoin the team on Tuesday in Boston.
