• Catcher Yasmani Grandal had reconstructive surgery on his right knee on Tuesday in Florida. Grandal, who suffered a season-ending injury to the knee on a play at the plate in July, underwent an operation to repair his anterior cruciate ligament. He's expected to miss between nine and 12 months.
