Snake bites

• After hitting .500 (6-for-12) in four games with the Arizona League (Rookie) D-backs, Willie Bloomquist was sent to Triple-A Reno on Monday to continue his Minor League rehab assignment. The Aces are currently in Tucson for a series with the Padres' affiliate. Bloomquist (broken left hand) has been on the shelf since June 28.
