St. John's scheduling change

Due to mechanical issues, the plane carrying members of the Toronto Blue Jays Winter Tour had to return to Halifax, Nova Scotia this morning.  Today's appearances in St. John's, Newfoundland have been rescheduled as follows.

Due to the delay, the visit to the Ches Family Y will unfortunately have to be cancelled.  Each of the children will receive a glove, ball and Blue Jays toque.  As well, a donation of equipment to the Y will also be made for their baseball program.

The Blue Jays are still scheduled to appear at the Avalon Mall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., pending a new flight leaving Halifax in enough time.   As a result of the change, the players and staff are scheduled to be available to the media at the Avalon Mall at 6:00 pm, prior to the autograph session.
