Drew remains sidelined with hamstring injury

BOSTON -- Stephen Drew was again out of the lineup on Sunday as he tries to battle back from a right hamstring injury he sustained in Friday's game.

Jose Iglesias moved to shortstop, while Brandon Snyder made his first start for Boston at third base.

"He's still day-to-day. We did get him on the treadmill yesterday, more just range of motion and some activity, no running as of yet," said Red Sox manager John Farrell. "That's the latest update I have. There's no projected time right now, as far as his return to the lineup."

Snyder was promoted from Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday to coincide with the demotion of Will Middlebrooks to the Minors, but has been used sparingly.

In 63 games for Pawtucket this season, Snyder is hitting .267 with 16 doubles, one triple, 10 homers and 37 RBIs.
