Hellickson throws bullpen, is set for third rehab start

HOUSTON -- Rays right-handed pitcher Jeremy Hellickson threw a bullpen session Saturday, and is expected to make his third rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A Durham.

Hellickson is working his way back from offseason arthroscopic elbow surgery.

He struggled with his second rehab start Thursday, giving up four runs in 2 1/3 innings. Hellickson's first rehab start was at Class A Advanced Charlotte, in which he threw three scoreless innings.

He was 12-10 with a 5.17 ERA for the Rays in 2013.
