Rangers host Mariners, Angels, and Braves during ten-game homestand beginning Thursday

Three giveaway nights and Friday Fireworks among activities

Arlington, Texas-The Texas Rangers will host the Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Angels, and Atlanta Braves during a ten-game homestand that begins on Thursday, September 4.

The Rangers and Mariners conclude play in 2014 with a four-game series, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 4, 5, and 6 at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, September 7 at 2:05 p.m. The first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Park in Arlington on Thursday receive a Shin-Soo Choo Bobblehead.

Chicken Express sponsors a post-game Fireworks Show set to the music of Star Wars following Friday's game, and fans can purchase $15.00 Upper Reserved tickets to the September 5 contest by entering FIREWORKS as the coupon code at texasrangers.com. In addition, fans who wish to watch the fireworks from the field can purchase $10.00 infield passes at texasrangers.com or the Globe Life Park box office (space is limited). The Salute to Star Wars continues on Saturday, when the first 15,000 fans entering the park receive a Chicken Express R2-D2 Beanie. Star Wars characters will be making appearances on Friday and Saturday.

Whataburger and the Rangers are teaming up to strike out hunger during the Seattle series. Fans who bring pasta, peanut butter, rice, beans, or any two non-perishable food items to Globe Life Park in Arlington on September 5 and 6 will receive a coupon good for a Free Whataburger while supplies last. All donations will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank and North Texas Food Bank.

The A.L. West Division-leading Angels make their final appearance of the season in Arlington with 7:05 p.m. games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, September 9, 10, and 11. September 10 is Nolan Ryan Beef Dollar Hot Dog Wednesday and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday. As part of the pre-game ceremonies on Patriot Day, Thursday, September 11, the Sheppard Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the colors and United States Airmen, joined by members of the Arlington Fire and Police Departments, will unfurl a large American flag in the outfield. The 531st United States Air Force Quintet will perform the National Anthem. The first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Park will receive a Fanatics Fan's Choice Camo T-Shirt. 

The Braves makes their first appearance in Arlington since 2008 with interleague contests on Friday, September 12 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, September 13 at 12:05 p.m., and Sunday, September 14 at 2:05 p.m. Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau Hispanic Heritage Day activities will take place prior to Sunday's game, including performances by Mariachi Michoacan, Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth, and Greiner MS Mariachi Los Unicos.
