Texas Rangers roster moves for March 11

Surprise, Arizona---Texas Rangers' roster moves for Wednesday, March 11:

--Purchased the contract of OF Antoan Richardson from Triple-A Round Rock of the Pacific Coast League.

--Placed LHP Martin Perez on the 60-day disabled list.

Richardson was signed by Texas to a minor league contract with a major league spring training invitation on December 11, 2014.

Perez is continuing to rehab from ligament reconstruction surgery on his left elbow on May 19, 2014.

With today's moves, the Rangers' major league roster remains at 40 players with INF Jurickson Profar and Perez on the 60-day DL.
