D-backs tender contracts to unsigned players
Pollock, Corbin among 6 who are now eligible for arbitration
PHOENIX -- The D-backs have tendered contracts to all six of their arbitration-eligible players as well as the rest of their 40-man roster players who were not already signed to contracts for next season.
The six who are eligible for salary arbitration are catcher Welington Castillo, left-hander Patrick Corbin, right-handers Randall Delgado, Rubby De La Rosa and Daniel Hudson and outfielder A.J. Pollock.
Had the D-backs not tendered contracts to those players, they would have become free agents.
The date for salary-arbitration filing is Jan. 12 and the players and teams exchange figures on Jan. 15 with hearings to be held Feb. 1-21.
Wednesday's deadline to tender players was anticlimactic for the D-backs, who had already dealt the players who were on the bubble of being non-tendered.

Pitcher Jhoulys Chacin was designated for assignment after the season, while Jeremy Hellickson was traded to the Phillies. One other non-tender candidate, lefty Matt Reynolds, reached an agreement last month on a one-year contract.
According to MLBTradeRumors.com, here are estimates of what the D-backs arbitration eligible players could make: Castillo ($3.6 million), Corbin ($2.3 million), Delgado ($1 million), De La Rosa ($3.2 million), Hudson ($2 million) and Pollock ($4.3 million).
