The 'Supreme Court' is back in session at Safeco Field

King's Court will expand to Supreme Court for Felix Hernandez's first home start of 2014 on April 11

When Felix Hernandez takes the mound at Safeco Field for his first home start of the 2014 season, the "King's Court" will be expanded to the entire ballpark as the "Supreme Court."

Hernandez is scheduled to start against the Oakland Athletics on Friday, April 11. Game time is 7:10pm.

For this special session of the "Supreme Court," the first 25,000 fans will receive a special t-shirt and commemorative K card. Special ticket prices for the game are $12 for all View Level seats and $25 for select Main Level, Terrace Club and Outfield Reserved seats.

Tickets for the game are on sale now without service charge at the Safeco Field Box Office and at all Seattle Mariners Team Stores (4th & Stewart in downtown Seattle,
Bellevue Square, Southcenter Mall & Alderwood Mall). Tickets are also available online at mariners.com/felix and by phone at 1-888-SEA-HITS (732-4487).

The first "Supreme Court" was held on August 21, 2012, to celebrate Felix's perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The "Supreme Court" now marks the first Safeco Field start by Hernandez each season.

The Supreme Court grew out of the "King's Court," specially designated sections in left field where yellow-t-shirted fans cheer on Felix by waving K cards and chanting for strike outs. The King's Court started in 2011.
