Today's game to be delayed

CINCINNATI - Today's game between the Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants at Great American Ball Park most likely will not begin until very late this afternoon or early this evening.

"We are continuing to monitor the weather, which we recognize is not looking very positive at the moment, but because of rescheduling issues we will wait longer than normal to make a final determination on whether nor not to play today's game," said Reds Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini. "We will ask our fans to monitor the situation by following reds.com, @Reds on Twitter, FOX Sports Ohio or 700 WLW Radio and its Reds on Radio affiliates. We will provide updates as soon as we are able to do so."

Today's game originally was scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. ET.
