Toronto Blue Jays hit the links for charity

18th Annual Charity Golf Classic in support of Jays Care at the Club at Bond Head on Monday

On Monday, July 8th, TORONTO BLUE JAYS players, coaches, notable alumni, and special guests will team up at The Club at Bond Head for the 18TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC, presented by Rogers, Cisco, Samsung and Ericsson, in support of JAYS CARE FOUNDATION.

This sold-out fundraiser promises to be a memorable event for all in attendance. Eighty foursomes will enjoy a round of golf on this ClubLink course, barbeque lunch, cocktail reception, dinner and an exclusive raffle and silent auction over the course of the day.

The funds raised from the tournament help children and youth across Canada reach their true potential by removing barriers to sport and education. Last year's Charity Golf Classic raised more than $480,000 for Jays Care's community outreach initiatives.

The Charity Golf Classic would not be possible without the support of generous sponsors: Rogers Communications Inc., Cisco, Samsung, Ericsson, Accenture, Davies, HP, LG, Alpha Technologies, Aramark, BlackBerry, Bacardi, The Boston Consulting Group, Cineplex, Citizen, City, Coca Cola, Flexity Solutions, Hitron Technologies, IBM, Intel, Labatt, Manulife Financial, New Era, Oliver Wyman, Pinty's, Qualcomm, Sony, Sportsnet, Transcontinental, TurnKey, Urbacon, WestJet and Yahoo!
