Twins Place Morneau on Paternity List
Will Recall Parmelee From Triple-A Rochester
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced that they have placed first baseman Justin Morneau on the Paternity List.
To replace Morneau on the 25-man roster, the Twins will recall first baseman Chris Parmelee from Triple-A Rochester in time for tonight’s game vs. the Royals in Kansas City.
Parmelee, who has split time between the Twins and Triple-A Rochester this year, has hit .302 (29-for-96) with four home runs and 18 rbi in 28 games with the Red Wings.
