Team to watch
Head to Alabama to take in a Mobile BayBears game. The D-backs' Double-A Southern League affiliate will be home to eight top D-backs prospects, headlined by one of the better one-two rotation combinations in Minor League Baseball in No. 2 Braden Shipley and No. 4 Aaron Blair, who gets the Opening Day nod. Throw in No. 6 Yoan Lopez for quite the trio.

New faces
The aforementioned Lopez, signed in January from Cuba with an $8 million bonus, makes his official D-backs debut with Mobile. Arizona also added talent via offseason trades, with lefty Robbie Ray starting the year with Triple-A Reno and Domingo Leyba, the infielder who came over in the same deal, beginning the season with Visalia in the Class A Advanced California League. Recently acquired outfielder Victor Reyes is joining Kane County in the Class A Midwest League.

Patience is a virtue
While the top of the D-backs list is chock full of talent close to being big league ready, instructors will be very busy in Extended Spring Training. Five members of the Top 30, starting with 2014 first-round pick, and No. 5 prospect, Touki Touissaint, have yet to receive assignments and could end up with short-season clubs in June.
