Team to watch
For seven of the Top 30 prospects in the Pirates system, they didn't have to go anywhere to start the Minor League season. The Bradenton Marauders, Pittsburgh's affiliate in the Class A Advanced Florida State League, boasts the most Top 30 guys of any full-season roster in the system. That lucky seven, led by 2013 first-rounders Austin Meadows and Reese McGuire (Nos. 4 and 5 on the list), got to remain in the Pirates' Spring Training home to start the 2015 season.

New faces
The trade of Travis Snider brought in two Top 30 prospects from the Orioles, both left-handed pitchers. Steven Brault (No. 29) will start the year on the Bradenton staff. Stephen Tarpley (No. 23) is also in Bradenton, but as part of Extended Spring Training, awaiting assignment.

On the shelf
No. 2 prospect Jameson Taillon and No. 20 Clay Holmes had Tommy John surgery a few weeks apart. The good news is the two right-handed pitchers were able to rehab together and push each other along the way. Both will get back on the mound competitively this year, with Taillon likely in Triple-A Indianapolis and Holmes joining that stacked Bradenton club.
