Team to watch
The Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox may have the deepest collection of prospects of any team anywhere in the Minor Leagues. They have baseball's best catching prospect (Blake Swihart), three of the top left-handed pitching prospects (Henry Owens, Eduardo Rodriguez, Brian Johnson), one of the best pure hitters (third baseman Garin Cecchini), a hard-throwing righty who's the highest Draft pick on the club (Matt Barnes, No. 19 overall in 2011), one of the top defenders in the Minors (shortstop Deven Marrero) and a 2014 Futures Gamer (second baseman Sean Coyle). And though he doesn't count as a prospect, $72.5 million Cuban defector Rusney Castillo is a dynamic outfielder.

New faces
Boston's top prospect, second baseman Yoan Moncada, will have to wait a little longer to make his pro debut. Signed for an amateur-record $31.5 million bonus in March, he'll spend some time in extended spring training before heading to low Class A Greenville. Precocious right-hander Anderson Espinoza, who doubled the Venezuelan bonus record when he signed for $1.8 million last July, will debut with a Rookie-level team this summer.
