Team to watch
Of the White Sox' 12 best prospects who will start 2015 on full-season Minor League clubs, half of them will play for the Double-A Birmingham Barons. Shortstop Tim Anderson, an Alabama native, and right-hander Francelis Montas highlight that contingent, which also includes righties Tyler Danish and Nolan Sanburn and outfielders Courtney Hawkins and Jacob May.

New faces
Three relievers will throw their first pitch for the White Sox this April: Sanburn (acquired from the Athletics in August for Adam Dunn), left-hander Onelki Garcia (claimed off waivers from the Dodgers in November) and right-hander Michael Ynoa (part of the Jeff Samardzija trade with Oakland in December). Catcher Jhoandro Alfaro, signed for $750,000 out of Colombia last July, will make his pro debut in Rookie ball this summer.
