White Sox option Jordan Danks to Class AAA Charlotte

CHICAGO-The Chicago White Sox have optioned outfielder Jordan Danks to Class AAA Charlotte.

Danks, 28, is hitting .190 (15-79) with a double, two home runs, nine RBI and eight runs scored in 33 games over two stints with Chicago this season. He is 11-38 (.289) with a home run and four RBI over 12 games since being recalled from Charlotte on August 9.

He is batting .276 (91-330) with 18 doubles, 16 home runs, 56 RBI and 51 runs scored over 88 games with the Knights this season.

The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow's night game against Cleveland at U.S. Cellular Field.
