White Sox-Royals makeup game set for July 17

CHICAGO - The April 25 game between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals at U.S. Cellular Field, which was postponed due to rain, has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on July 17. The first game will begin at 1:10 p.m. CT, with the regularly scheduled contest starting at 7:10 p.m. CT.

Game tickets and parking coupons from the postponed contest on April 25 will only be honored at the 1:10 p.m. game on July 17. Fans do not need to exchange any tickets or parking coupons to attend the rescheduled game.

Yesterday's promotional Jose Abreu Rookie of the Year blanket, presented by Beggars Pizza, will be given to the first 20,000 fans entering the ballpark for the first game on July 17. Comcast SportsNet Chicago (first game), WGN-TV (second game), WSCR-AM 670 The Score and WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio will broadcast the doubleheader.
