White Sox welcome Stanley Cup to U.S. Celullar Field on Sunday

The Chicago White Sox will welcome the Stanley Cup on Sunday, June 21 for the White Sox game vs. Texas at 1:10 p.m. The Stanley Cup will be on the field for a special pregame ceremony celebrating the Hawks' third championship title in six years.

Representatives from the three-time NHL Champion Chicago Blackhawks also are expected to attend and will be announced at a later date.

The Stanley Cup previously visited U.S. Cellular Field in 2013 with Patrick Sharp and in 2010 with Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville, when the White Sox hosted "Champions Night" with all four major sports trophies (Stanley Cup Trophy, Lombardi Trophy, Larry O'Brien Trophy and Commissioner's Trophy) present at U.S. Cellular Field.

Tickets for Sunday's game are available at whitesox.com or the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office.
