Wins in short supply, but Hamels holds it together

PHILADELPHIA -- Cole Hamels starts Wednesday's series finale against the Marlins, and the odds seem to be in his favor.

Hamels eventually has to win a game, right?

Little has gone right for Hamels this season. He is 1-9 with a 4.86 ERA. But while Hamels has looked frustrated at times, he has said he is not frustrated at all. Phillies pitching coach Rich Dubee supported Hamels on Tuesday.

"I think he's handled this so much better than [his struggles] in '09, when he wasn't probably strong enough to pitch after the long year in '08," Dubee said. "I think his body language has been so much better on the mound. I think his body language improved in 2010, and it's been great ever since."
