Marlins announce MetroPCS Winter Warm Up to take place Saturday, February 9 at Marlins Parks

The event is free and is open to the public and will feature autograph sessions from Marlins players, access to the ballpark as well as games and activities for the entire family on the West Plaza

The Miami Marlins today announced the MetroPCS Winter Warm Up will take place on Saturday, February 9th at Marlins Park from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. The announcement was made by Sean Flynn, Marlins SVP of Marketing and Event Booking.

The Miami Marlins Winter Warm Up is free and open to the public from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.  Fans can sit in and select their seats for the 2013 season through a variety of season ticket plans, including Full Season, 40-Game Half Season and 21-Game Mini Plans.  Single game tickets will also go on sale for the 2013 season, including Opening Night, beginning at 10 A.M. at the National ID Recovery Ticket Office, and online at marlins.com and marlinsbeisbol.com.  Fans can get autographs from Marlins players, walk throughout the ballpark and enjoy games and activities for the entire family on the West Plaza. 

Winter Warm Up activities will also include the High School Field of Dreams Challenge at 11 A.M., featuring Archbishop McCarthy versus Gulliver Academy.  In addition, all current Full Season, Half Season and 21-Game Mini Plan holders will be invited to exclusive Season Ticket Holder events during the day.  For more information on purchasing a season ticket plan, go to www.marlins.com/seatviews.

The event will mark the culmination of Marlins Ayudan Week 2013, where Marlins players, coaches, executives and staff will engage in various community endeavors, including appearances at South Florida schools, little leagues and corporate partner locations throughout the week.
