Worth noting

• The Rangers finish the spring with a record of 17-17-2. They have not had a winning record in Spring Training since 2009. The record does not include Thursday's victory over Mexico City. The Rangers also had a game rained out against the Brewers.

• With the Rangers opening on Sunday, manager Ron Washington gave most of his regulars a day off. The only exception was first baseman Mitch Moreland. Said Washington, "I just feel like Moreland needs to play, that's all."

• Infielder Leury Garcia made a cameo appearance in center field in the final innings of Saturday's game. It's the first time he has played there this spring for the Rangers, but they are not afraid to use him out there if needed.
