• Paul Konerko will see some time at first base after starting all four games against the Blue Jays as the team's designated hitter, with Adam Dunn manning the corner position.

"I just didn't want Paul on the turf," manager Robin Ventura said. "It just seems to create problems every time guys get on the turf."

Konerko has started the last seven games at DH, including three against Cleveland before the White Sox traveled to Toronto.
