Worth noting

• For the second straight year, the Angels will not have a first-round pick in Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft. The Angels forfeited their first-round selection with the signing of Josh Hamilton. The Angels' first pick comes in the second round and is the 59th overall selection. They also have the 95th overall pick, which comes in the third round.

The Angels did not have a pick in the first two rounds last year and used their 2011 first-round pick on first baseman C.J. Cron.

• Reliever Mark Lowe is eligible to come off of the disabled list Sunday but expects to make one more Minor League appearance. Lowe pitched two innings for Class A Inland Empire on Thursday night and plans to throw another two innings on Sunday.

• Tommy Field has a broken right index finger and is on the Minor League disabled list. Field will likely miss a month with the injury.
